Picnics in the Hills

At Kirklands we have the ideal "raw material" for a family holiday - gentle hills, rivers and unspoilt countryside. Kirklands has two sociable resident youngsters and is set in around a dozen or so acres of park/woodland with plenty of places to explore and play. We also have a number of other "residents" from ponies to chickens (egg collection is very popular) etc (all "other" residents are well away from the house).

Outside toys are available to use and we have a large supply of kids videos should there be the odd hours of inclement weather. We also provide high chairs and cots however but ask families to bring their own cot bedding.

Equine Resident

The coast is less than an hours drive if sand castles are the order of the day and there are many attractions nearby for children. Within the grounds we have an abundance of wild life including otters, barn owls, deer, badgers etc.
